APY provides one of the most accessible and effective styles of yoga offered today. All classes are 60 minutes and open to all levels. We combine a unique blend of Tai Chi, Chi Gung, Flow Yoga, Philosophy and Fun! All poses can be modified or intensified, so YOU set the intensity. This makes it great for the beginner and intense for the seasoned practitioner or athlete.
We practice warm yoga, so the room is gently heated to 85 degrees and humidity of about 65%. It’s safer and easier to stretch out your muscles when they are warm, but we also encourage you to take breaks on your mat. With the regulated temperature of the room you won’t have to work up the body’s heat all over again. You can get back into class still warm and safe. You will burn calories, build flexibility, gain strength, release tension, and cultivate focus.
